Kathryn Darden’s expertise and skill in developing a marketing strategy for my first book opened up a market that I would have never thought was possible. Her ideas were very easy to implement, and they made what could have been an overwhelming challenge a very enjoyable experience.

Kathryn Darden has been so diligent in guiding me throughout the process of publishing my book. Being a first time author, I had no knowledge of what to do or how to proceed. But I have relied on Kathryn Darden’s helpful insights all the way from our very first contact. Her advice, press releases, and ability to direct me has been phenomenal. After the book was published and on the market, Darden continued to give me good advice regarding contacts, ongoing emails, behavioral attitudes towards the media as well as dealing with the press. It would have been impossible for me to market this book without this information. Her knowledge has made the success of this book possible.

Kathryn Darden was a tremendous help in both getting my new book It’s All About You Lord published, and for also providing ways to sell my book. Kathryn not only published much of my work on her Christian Activities.com web site, she also introduced me to a publisher. Kathryn gave me the confidence to go through with the submission of my material, and then supplied me with numerous tips in ways to get my book out in front of the public. I would recommend Kathryn’s book to any writer, the opportunities to successfully market your book increases tremendously by using the material she has laid out in her book.

Kathryn has done a beautiful job giving a detailed way of promoting your book without investing a ton of finances. She starts at the beginning of doing your background work to the end of checking your checklist and checking it twice. There is alot of meat and insightful material in between the two that will give any author fantastic insight of how to promote your material without spending a bundle.
Thanks Kathryn for writing from your knowledge, experiences and research to help others move along quicker to get their material promoted and out into readers hands.
I have worked with Kathryn Darden as a colleague in promoting concerts and special events in the Christian music market in Nashville and Middle Tennessee. While working with Kathryn, she quickly set herself apart as one who was effective, knowledgeable and vitally interested in our field. Her outgoing and fun personality quickly attracted those around her to team up with her and join in to the projects we were promoting. Those she influenced and communicated with included the staff at the Koinonia Concerts and Bookstore, church and youth leaders across the city and in surrounding areas, and area media and businesses.

I worked for Kathryn over a period of 3 years during my tenure with The Southwestern Company in the early 1980's. Kathryn has incredible abilities in sales, sales management, and recruitment. Even though it has been nearly 30 years since we worked together, she remains at the very top of my list of "best sales people I have ever seen." Just to
put this in perspective, I have been employed in a sales/marketing/editorial position for the past 25 years (with the same company) and have been on sales calls with more than 200 different reps. As a manager I found that she was a very proficient motivator and coach
for her subordinates.
