How to Promote Your Book

This is one of the black and white illustrations from the book (now brought to you in living color!) which the publisher did not get quite right and which needs to go back to the drawing board. Can you find some elements that need to be changed?

The Location, Date, and Time need to be much more visible so that information can be taken in at a glance.

The second example is better and would work fine for a flyer which is handed out to your friends. This is the image I accepted for the book due to time constraints, but Location, Date, and Time still need to be much more visible than the illustration here for a poster. Remember, you want to catch attention and impart information as people are walking or even driving by.
