About the Publisher

Launched in 1992 as a newsletter serving Nashville’s Christian music industry, the four-page Christian Activities Nashville quickly grew into a 16 - 20-page statewide magazine. Christian Activities Nashville continued its relationship forged with the local CCM community and churches by providing monthly information on local concerts, industry personalities, music reviews and other articles. Christian Activities Online was introduced at the end of 1995. Its popularity caught on across the state resulting in the magazine changing its name at the beginning of 1996 to Christian Activities Tennessee and beginning distribution in Alabama. In 1997, Christian Activities began distribution in parts of Kentucky and Georgia. Personalities who have been cover stories include Amy Grant, Newsboys, Michael W. Smith, dc Talk, CeCe Winans, Whitney Houston, Billy Graham, Kirk Cameron and Gary Chapman.

Christian Activities has received several awards and honors including a Certificate of Appreciation from Mayor Phil Bredeson on our Fifth Anniversary and serving as the official church liaison publication for Tennessee 200 during Tennessee's Bicentennial.
